  • Weekly Class & Daily Practice

    A live and online class each week, alongside a 15-minute daily partner-based practice (Dyad), featuring science-based material, interactive learning, and skills coaching.

  • Connection Skill-Building

    From the lab to you—based on decades of social neuroscientific research, you’ll learn the theory and practice of essential connection and relationship-building skills.

  • Learning in Community

    In a group of 12 participants, you’ll benefit from peer learning, as we celebrate our unique differences and shared desire to connect. No prior mindfulness practice is required.

What to Expect

Each week, we’ll gather for engaging sessions that put community first, inspiring peer learning and coaching for personal growth. And don’t worry—we’ll sprinkle in plenty of joy, play, and hands-on activities to keep things lively and fun, whether online or in-person!

By the end of this journey, you’ll have a deeper understanding of yourself and others, leading to stronger relationships and a vibrant sense of community.

  • Explore interoception, the ability to sense internal bodily sensations. Understand how heightened body awareness contributes to emotional regulation and overall well-being, deepening your connection to your own experiences.

  • Understand the basics of emotions and develop strategies for working with challenging ones in particular. Discover how accepting and allowing difficult emotions can lead to better understanding and management, increasing resilience in tough situations.

  • Uncover the benefits of cultivating gratitude. Learn how an attitude of thankfulness can transform your outlook, enhance emotional well-being, and positively impact your relationships.

  • Examine human social behavior and its impact on interactions. Gain insights into how social patterns and reactivity shape relationships, enhancing your understanding of social dynamics and improving connections.

 FAQs

  • The program is 9 weeks long, with nine weekly class sessions of 90 minutes each. The daily Dyads start after the second session. You can choose to attend online with weekly live sessions on Wednesdays, starting from October 9, 17:30 - 19:00 or you can attend in-person at the Nike event space in Berlin Friedrichshain with weekly live sessions on Sundays, starting from October 13, 14:00-16:00 (with a break on November 10).

  • Absolutely not. This course is open to everyone, beginner and seasoned practitioner alike. We welcome all levels and the course will empower you with the knowledge you need for the partner-based (Dyad) practice.

  • In short, it’s all that matters. It’s where all the magic lies :) A core component of this program is the 15-minute daily dyad practice which requires your commitment. To ensure the continuity of practice and the pairing of participants, you must be able to commit to a daily practice with an alternating partner for the entire duration of this program. If you are unable to make this commitment right now, then perhaps it would be best to come back to us at another time when a commitment is possible for you.

  • For privacy reasons the live sessions will not be recorded.

  • Yes, we do. We’d love to make this program as accessible as possible. If you have limited financial resources and would love to take part, please feel free to reach out. We also offer payment plans with three instalments.

  • You will be invited to join the Humanize Community where you can engage in the ongoing daily practice.
